Two Victorian fold-down
shelves. The first (A) is 16 inches wide with a half-round shelf that extends to 8 inches and has an elaborately carved lower
backplate and support, 10 inches in height; the second (B) is 13 inches wide and 7.5 inches deep, with a carved upper and lower backplate,
19 inches in height. Each has an old/original finish, in walnut or mahogany. Each starts at $50; indicate which shelf
you are bidding on (A or B).
502. $50
Philco Radio “Model 551 Colonial
Clock Radio” 1931-1932. A 22-inch tall mahogany and mahogany veneer case in good condition with glass over the 8-inch metal
dial labeled “Philco Electric”. The wooden finials on top are probably replacements. At the bottom of the clock dial is
a frequency dial, lighted from behind, with a knob below it to tune the radio. There are two additional knobs on the bottom
left and right to turn on the radio and adjust the volume; the single speaker opens to the top of the case and has the original cloth
cover. The radio chassis is Model 51, a five-tube radio with a single wave band. The power cord is original, cloth-covered,
and in bad shape, so it was not plugged in. The tubes look good. Two recent sales on LiveAuctioneers, most recently for
$80. $50–$150.
601. $10/pair
Round weights for one-day clocks. Each

many sets you want. These are examples – you cannot pick your set – sorry. Up to two sets can be mailed in a
USPS flat rate box for $20. $10/pair, no bidding, all sell for the stated price. Indicate if you want them shipped
and I will include the shipping fee.

C. & L.C. Ives 8-day brass weight-driven
movement. Clean movement is unsigned (typical) and untested but looks good and all complete. $50–$100.
602. $35/lb
Mercury. Specify the amount
you want in pounds. Pick up or delivery only, no shipping. A two-jar pendulum needs about 8 lbs (4 lb/jar). No bidding,
sells for the price stated.
603. $10
Atkins Clock Co. “London”, 1859-1879. The 17-inch case has been stripped but not refinished; the rosewood veneer is complete and in good condition. The half-columns
have also been stripped and are ready to be painted/gilded. Both glasses appear to be original with slight losses; the door
latches are not latching. The contoured metal needs to be repainted, the hands are period-correct. The suspension
spring is broken off the pendulum rod but the rod is included so you can fit a new one. The unsigned movement looks complete
but will need cleaning; it could not be tested. There is a pendulum bob and key, and a good label inside. Your next project? $10–$100.

605. $50
Elisha Manross “Improved Eight Day
Brass Clock”, 1843-1849. A 36-inch case with a clean finish on mahogany veneer, a carved splat and two full columns with figured
mahogany veneer. The dial glass is old but either replaced or with new putty, the two lower glasses are modern with applied
images that look like typical lithograph transfers from the front but are painted from the back. All glasses have been recently
installed. The contoured metal dial is in good condition with light soiling; it is not original to this case but fits the movement. There are no hands. I believe this is a 30-hour time-and-strike, weight-driven movement that has been modified to run 8 days
– note the extensions on the base plate. It could not be tested as there are no weight cords or a pendulum rod and bob. There is a good label on the inside. I will part this clock out if you only want the movement and are the high bidder. If you want the entire clock, I can provide weights that will work for $50 – add a note to your bid sheet. $50–$150.
606. $10
Waterbury Clock Co. metal dial. An 8-inch painted metal dial in a nickel bezel (8.5-inch overall diameter) for a time-only movement – note the position of the winding
hole. Original paint and logo. $10–$50.

Two Moberg glasses for a pillar
& scroll or similar clock. Each is 11 inches wide and 7.25 inches tall. Signed on the back. Take your pick,
A is on the left, B is on the right. Indicate your choice on your bid sheet. $100–$200 (each).
608. $200
E. Howard(?) large oak case. I
am inclined to think this is an E. Howard case, as I had a similar example a year ago. The 67-inch solid oak case has a clean
finish and is 22.5 inches wide. The glass is modern. Note the incisings on the door; the finials are not correct, and
four finials (top back and bottom) are missing. There is no label, but there is a plaque inside on the door that states “Underwriters’
Laboratories Inspected Time Detector”, with a serial number. There is also a brass “FM” plaque at the bottom. This case
had electrical(?) connections originally, and the inside back of the case shows numbered markings. The mounting hardware appears
to be a replacement, and handmade. (The Seth Thomas movement that came with this clock is item 609 but does not fit the mounting
bracket.) The handmade pendulum stick lacks a bob. This fine case is looking for a proper movement and dial, perhaps you
have those parts looking for a case? $200–$400.
610. $25
Seth Thomas (replica) 14-inch dial. Full diameter of 15.5 inches on painted aluminum (14-inch diameter time-track). Winds at the number 2, with seconds bit opening. Fits a Seth Thomas No. 62 movement (item 609). $25–$100.
612. $10
Four brass 8-day spring movements. Sessions time-only, solder repair to anchor stay; Waterbury time-and-strike, takes a 10-inch pendulum; New Haven front-mount time-and-strike;
Waterbury time-and-strike with hands. All for one money. $10–$50.
611. $10
Large brass pendulum bob. Eight inches in diameter, 2 lb 6 oz. Needs a stick; does not look antique. $10–$25.
609. $100
Seth Thomas Clock Co. “No. 62 Movement”. This trapezoidal/keystone brass plate movement appears to correspond to Movement No. 62, shown on page 299 of Ly’s Seth Thomas Clocks
& Movements, Vol. 1. It is driven by a single center-hung weight and is time-only, winding at the number 2. The pendulum
hangs from the back; note that the leveling adjustment screw for the pendulum is at the top of the movement. The brass plates
are 4.25 inches wide at the bottom and 5.25 inches in length. The movement is stamped with the ST logo, but no movement number. It was not tested. $100–$200.
503. $12.50
