94.              $600

Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Garfield”, 1884.  A 29.5-inch walnut case with a new finish.  The door glass is likely original, the dial holds old paint, faded numbering, a faded ST logo, and proper ST hands.  The signed 8-day, time-and-strike ST movement is running nicely, driven by two brass weights and a damascened nickel pendulum bob, striking on a cathedral gong.  There is an illegible black label inside on the bottom, and the date of manufacture stamped on the back.  A nice example.  AAC sold a similar example last winter for $1287.  $600–$800.
