Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Empire No. 18” crystal regulator, ca. 1913.  A 12-inch metal case with a bright gold finish (probably repainted) and four good beveled glasses.  The signed porcelain dial is flawless, with hands as shown in the catalog illustration (Ly, Seth Thomas Clocks & Movements, Vol. 1, page 243). The round 8-day movement bears the ST logo and will run for a short while before stopping; it strikes a cathedral gong on the hours and half-hours.  AAC sold two in 2023 for $150 each.  $100–$200.
