Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Empire No. 18” crystal regulator, ca. 1913. A 12-inch metal case with a dull gold finish and four good beveled glasses.  The decorated, signed porcelain dial has some damage on the left side; the hands are as shown in the catalog illustration (Ly, Seth Thomas Clocks & Movements, Vol. 1, page 243). The round 8-day movement bears the ST logo and is running and striking on the cathedral gong on the hours and half-hours.  $150–$300.
