Wm L Gilbert Clock Co. “Columbia”, ca. 1901. The 36-inch case is probably
walnut, with an old, patinated finish. The top finial and the bottom side drop finials are acceptable replacements. The door glass is likely original but most of the silver stencil is lost. The glossy paper dial is dark, the hands are
period replacements. The signed 8-day, time-and-strike movement is running and striking without issue on a wire gong.
No label, inside or out. AAC sold one a year ago for $150. $175–$300.
