English skeleton fusee clock, ca. 1880.  A 16-inch brass frame with a skeletonized white dial, a fusee movement and a passing strike.  It sits on a red velvet pad on a wooden base; the glass dome is long gone.  The dome you would need for this platform would be 9.75 inches wide, 5.5 inches deep and 15 inches tall.   The white dial shows its age and wear; the fusee movement is running and striking.  No label or marking on the frame or base.  $100–$250.
