S. Marti et Cie triple-dial black marble clock with thermometer and barometer, ca. 1890.  A 17.25-inch-tall black marble (Belgian slate) case with green onyx inlays and gilded designs, along with a dial mercury thermometer and barometer.  The case needs cleaning and polishing.  The glasses are beveled, the porcelain time dial has two faint hairlines, proper Breguet hands, and a visible escapement with one ruby and one steel pallet.  The 8-day pendule de Paris movement is stamped S Marti et Cie and is running and striking on the hours and half-hours on a nickel bell. I believe the thermometer is working, not too sure about the barometer.  This clock weighs 48 lb.  $150–$300.
