212.           $100

Seth Thomas “World”, ca. 1910.  As with #211, I believe this is the 15-day version of this clock; the Type 86 movement is not marked other than the ST name and logo.  I believe the 32-inch case is walnut with an old finish.  The dial glass is old but the putty newer, the lower glass is probably original, with gilt trim around the glass.  The signed dial may hold the original paint with light yellowing and minor flaking.  The three hands are correct.  The double-spring, time-only movement is running with the correct pendulum bob and stick.  There is a black and gold label inside with a brass beat scale at the bottom, no date on the back.  These clocks were made from 1896-1921. $100-$200.
