211.            $100

Seth Thomas “World”, ca. 1910.  I believe this is the 15-day version of this clock; the Type 86 movement is not marked other than the ST name and logo.  The 32-inch case is veneered in rosewood with an old and slightly dull finish.  The dial glass is modern, the lower glass is period but may be a replacement.  The gold trim around the glass has been painted.  The dial was repainted with what appears to be the name of a business in England (Gillham Eastbourne).  The three hands are old and correct.  The double-spring movement is running with the correct pendulum bob and stick.  The label has been lost, and there is a brass beat scale at the bottom.  $100-$200.
