Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Office Calendar No. 7”, ca. 1896. The 26.5-inch No. 7 is six inches smaller than the Office Calendar No. 6, with proportionately reduced dials.  The case is veneered in rosewood with a clean finish, while the veneer is missing (or never was) from the wood bezels.  Both glasses appear to be original; the dials are old, slightly glossy paper with the retailer’s advertising on the time dial (Baldwin & Co. Jewelers, St. Joseph, MO). The three hands are Seth Thomas.  The 8-day, time-only movement is signed and running and the calendars are advancing. The roller papers are darkened.  AAC sold this model last January for $375.  $350-$450.
