Ithaca Calendar Clock Co. “No. 3 ½ Parlor”, 1880.  This is the later version of this model with an 8-day, time-and-strike Welch movement.  The side ornaments are the later versions with silver trim; the crest is the later form as well, with repair to two tips, and the calendar dial glass is in a walnut frame. There is light wear to the 20.5-inch case and trim.  The dial glass and calendar dial glass appear to be modern, the outer calendar glass is older/original.  The pendulum is a modern replacement as well.  The backboard is in two parts, over a single-frame case; the inventory number and date of manufacture are penciled in on the edge of calendar board.  The dial is black paper and a bit faded, with nickel hands that look like replacements, but there is one thing unexpected with this example – note the weekday and month rollers (new roller papers are easy to obtain – in English).  The clock is running, striking, and the calendars are advancing.  AAC has sold three of this model for an average of $1600.  $1500–$2000.
