E.N. Welch Mfg. Co. “Handel”, ca. 1889.  A 22.5-inch refinished black walnut case with the original glass.  The gold stencil shows little wear, the painted dial has some well-done touch-ups, and the hands are period/appropriate.  The 8-day time and half-hour strike movement is signed and running, striking on a wire gong.  There is a Welch pendulum and remnants of a label on the back.  $50–$150.
