99.              $200

Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Erie”, ca. 1884. The Erie is a difficult City Series model to find; I have seen only one other example and there are no recent sales on LiveAuctioneers. The walnut case is 19 inches tall in an old finish with light patina; the front of the case is veneered with burled walnut. The door glass period but has been installed with the stenciled side out.  The dial is old paper with rust/corrosion to the metal ring and bezel; the hands are ST issue.  The 8-day time-and-strike lyre movement is signed and will run for a while but needs adjustment and cleaning.  It strikes on a cathedral gong, with an ST pendulum and a black label inside on the bottom.  Three old sales on LiveAuctioneers.  $200–$500.
