E. Terry &
Sons pillar & scroll, 1823-1831. Perhaps the most prolific producers of pillar & scroll clocks. The 31-inch

looks original with no repairs as do the skirt and feet. Both glasses are old, possibly original, with a repainted tablet. The
wooden dial is clean, plain, and faded. The wooden 30-hour time-and-strike movement is running and striking without problem. There
are two period weights, a small brass bob, a winder, and a key for the working door latch. There is a good label inside. The
average AAC sale price for pillar & scroll clocks by Terry & Sons is $327, 17 sales. $250–$400.
