New Haven Clock Co. Mission-style wall clock, ca. 1910.  New Haven was probably the biggest maker of Mission-style clocks, although this one is not shown in Ly’s compendium on New Haven clocks.  It appears to be a special order for the H.T. Cushman Mfg. Co., a furniture manufacturer in Bennington, VT.  The darkly stained oak case is 48 inches long with brass numbering and hands, as is typical for this style.  The width is 16 inches.  The 8-day, time-and-strike spring-driven movement is stamped with the New Haven logo and is running and striking on a cathedral gong.  The four hanging blocks are strictly decorative.  I have not seen this model before.  $100–$250.
