E.N. Welch Clock Co. “Sembrich”, ca. 1889.  A 38-inch black walnut case with a beautiful finish; the door glass is old, the gilt lettering likely a later addition.  The dial has been repainted, the hands are Welch.  The 8-day, time-and-strike movement is signed and running, striking nicely on a cathedral gong.  A good pendulum stick and bob, just missing a label.  AAC sold this clock in 2021 for $333; this clock is not common – there are no listing on LiveAuctioneers.  $225-$350.
