222.         $250

Waterbury Clock Co. “Elgin”, ca. 1893.  A 35-inch walnut case with an old, clean finish.  The door glass has frosted birds and flowers along the bottom and is likely original.  The dial is signed paper, the hands are replacements.  The signed 8-day, time and half-hour strike movement runs for a while but needs service, the strike is on a wire gong.  The pendulum stick and bob are Waterbury issue.  There is a label on the back.  I have not seen this model before, and there are only a few sales on LiveAuctioneers.  $250–$400.
