Atkins Clock Co. “Octagon Drop XX” with 30-day fusee, ca. 1860.  A case used with a variety of movements over the years, all with limited success.  The 25-inch case has rosewood veneer, ripple trim, and a nice patina.  Both glasses are period, with a proper tablet on the pendulum door.  The dial holds old paint and is faded and yellowed; the hands are proper and period.  The 30-day, time-only, fusee movement is running, but not strongly. There is a yellow label inside.  AAC sold an identical example in 2024 for $380.  $250–$400.
