196.           $350

Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co. “Regulator No. 64”, ca. 1910. This is a difficult model to find – there are no listings on LiveAuctioneers, the Antique Clocks Identification and Price Guide, or the AAC database.  The 44-inch case is cherry with a “Mahogany Finish”; the door glass is original with the original putty. The dial is old paper, signed, the hands likely original, the dial bezel with light corrosion.  The 8-day weight-driven, time-only movement is running without issue, driven by a nickel-plated weight with two spots of corrosion.  The wooden pendulum stick and brass bob are as specified in the catalog description (Ly, Gilbert Clocks, page 141).  First one I’ve seen.  $350–$600.
