192.           $500

Seth Thomas “Regulator No. 6”, 1887.  A 48-inch refinished cherry case with a modern door glass.  The finials are correct, the signed dial is original with some retouched chips, the hands are ST issue, although the extended minute hand is more commonly seen on the No. 6 double dial.  The 8-day, time-only, weight-driven movement is unsigned but typical, the tarnished brass weight does not appear to be ST issue.  The pendulum stick and bob are proper, with a beat scale at the bottom.  The clock is running nicely, no label, but there is a date stamp on the back. Cherry is not common, I could not find any sales on LiveAuctioneers.  $500–$1000.
