Waterbury Clock Co. “Atlas” enameled iron case, ca. 1893. A 10-inch tall (11.5 inches wide) cast iron case that has been repainted, with polished brass lion’s head side ornaments and feet. The brass bezel is bright with a beveled flat glass over a porcelain dial and replacement hands.  The 8-day, time-and-strike movement is signed; it will run briefly and will strike on the hours and half-hours.  Note the unusual rack & snail strike. $50–$100.
