153.           $100

Herschede large tambour, ca. 1925.  A 21.5-inch-wide mahogany case with a dark and patinaed finish.  Cleaning it up might bring out the grain; it is 10.5 inches tall.  I have no model name for this clock, but it is stamped “2015” on the bottom; there is no label, other than the award medal on the back of the case (they put that on all their clocks).  There is a flat, beveled glass in the brass sash over a silvered engraved dial in excellent condition with proper hands.   The 8-day time, strike, and Westminster chime movement is running and striking the hours and chiming on five metal rods with a nice tone.  $100–$200.

Andy Dervan tells me the "2015" is the model number, in the Hershede catalog for 1924.  It was an expensive model ($72).  Thanks Andy!

Can I return my clock if I don’t like it?

You betcha!  Save your packing and box, you have 30 days from receipt to return it for a full refund if you are unhappy.  If the clock is not as described, or I missed something important and that is not evident from the pictures, I will refund your shipping costs (both ways) as well.  Find another auction company that does that!
