E.N. Welch Mfg. Co. “Cottage Extra”, ca. 1880.  A 13.5-inch mahogany case with a clean finish and two old glasses.  The lower glass appears to have a repainted eagle and lacks the backing that is typically found with these clocks.  The dial has been recently repainted, the hands slight mismatches.  The 30-hour time-and-strike movement is signed EN Welch and is running and striking on a wire gong; there are remnants of a green label inside. $25–$75.
