116. $100
Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Albion V.P.”, ca. 1880. A 21-inch
walnut case with a very dark finish, certainly original, but with many overcoats. The door glass is old, the dial holds the
original paint with slight touch-up and a few chips; it has the ST logo and a patent date. The hands are ST, the 8-day time-and-strike
lyre movement is signed and running, striking on a nickel bell. There is an ST pendulum; there was a label inside on the bottom,
now gone, and no date on the back. A stately model that looks as old as it is. No recent sales anywhere. $100–$200.
