113.           $150

E.N. Welch Mfg. Co. “Parepa”, ca. 1885.  A 22-inch rosewood case with a dark, polished finish.  The door glass is original; the paper dial an old replacement.  The hands are appropriate. The 8-day, time-and-strike movement is signed and running, striking the hours on a nickel bell.  The pendulum is one of two shown with this model in the catalog illustrations (Ly, Welch Clocks, page 452).  There is a very dark label inside on the bottom. The most recent sale of a Parepa like this was at Schmidt’s Antiques in 2024 for $170.  $150–$200.
