New Haven Clock Co. 30-hour steeple, ca. 1860. A 20.5-inch case with good flame mahogany veneer and two period glasses, the beehive tablet with significant losses.  The dial has been repainted, the hands are period and matched.  The 30-hour time-and-strike movement is unsigned; it is running and striking on a wire gong.  There is an alarm hooked up but untested, and a good label inside on the backwall.  $25–$75.
