21.       $250

Southern Calendar Clock Co. “Fashion No. 2”, 1877.  A 31.5-inch case veneered in walnut; the second Fashion model and the last to be veneered.  The veneer is good and parts may be replacements; the finish is old, faded, and peeling and needs to be renewed.  The finials are modern replacements.  The dial glass is wavy, the calendar glass modern.  Both dials have been repainted and antiqued.  The hands are correct.  The signed Seth Thomas movement is marked “For the Southern Calendar Clock Co St Louis MO.”  It is running a bit irregularly and striking, and the calendar is advancing.  Decent labels inside.  AAC sold one last summer for $325.  $300-$400.
