Antique American Clocks July 2021
20. $1250
French regulator, ca. 1880? An absolutely beautiful 75-inch case veneered in figured
mahogany, including on the interior back wall. The door glass is old. The dial is silvered and shows only very light spotting. The time-only movement is not signed but does have a serial number; it is running, likely for 15 days on a winding. This is
an impressive clock and my consignor says it keeps excellent time; at over 6 feet in length, it will need a full wall. $1500-$2500.
