Waltham Clock Co. lever banjo, ca. 1916.  A 40-inch case with the brass eagle finial; it holds a platform escapement 8-day, time-only movement that is signed “Waltham Clock Co.” with the serial number 31465.  It is running without problem.  The 7-inch dial has the original paint and hands, with some oxidation and light rust; the dial glass is convex.  Nice cross-banding on the front of the case, and two good glasses.  This is a full-size model; Waltham platform escapement banjos are usually three-quarter size (30 inches).  AAC sold a similar example in 2023 for $250.  $200–$400.
