Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Office No. 1”, 1918.  A 15.5-inch refinished oak case with a 12-inch dial and an 8-day, time-only movement.  This is not the commonly found Office No. 1 by Seth Thomas; there are no sales records for this early style example on LiveAuctioneers.  ST modified the case design and made it even simpler by 1921.  It is running without difficulty, there is a pull-down door on the bottom to access the pendulum. No label, but a date on the back which I think is 1918.  A rare example.  $100–$200.
