190.           $325

Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Regulator No. 2”, ca. 1928.  A 36-inch oak and oak veneer case with an older finish, two modern glasses, and a pedestal base.   The dial has been repainted, the hands are ST.  The 8-day, time-only movement is signed and running, driven by a Seth Thomas brass weight and regulated by what I think is a replacement pendulum stick and a very old, tarnished bob.  There is a white label inside on the bottom.  I have sold more oak No. 2 Regulators than all the cherry, mahogany, and walnut cases combined, 17 over the past six years with an average sale price of $459.  $325–$450.
