167.         DK-33.           $1600

Seth Thomas “Regulator No. 17”, ca. 1884.  A refinished 67.5-inch solid walnut case in good condition with all the finials and trim pieces in place; note the decorative element at the bottom, and the three bottom finials.  I think all are original, as are the two glasses, quite remarkable.  The original dial was repainted by The Dial House, the three hands are proper and likely original.   The 8-day, time-only, No. 62 movement bears the ST logo and matches the one shown in Ly’s book on Seth Thomas clocks, Vol. 1, on page 299. The pendulum bob and stick look original, the brass weight may be a replacement.  The raised beat scale is original.  The clock is running without issue.  AAC sold a very similar walnut example in 2021 for $3050.  $1600-$3000.

Delivery to the eastern half of the US for $450.
