104.           $100

Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Cincinnati”, ca. 1880.  Easily recognizable, but the design on the columns changed over the years for this City Series clock; I cannot find another example on LiveAuctioneers with columns as are found here.  The clock stands 16 inches tall with clean mahogany veneer and ebonized trim, including the columns.  Both glasses are likely original, with the original tablet in good condition but probably rebacked.  The contoured dial was repainted, the hands are Seth Thomas with a repaired minute hand.  The 8-day, time-and-strike signed movement is running and striking on a wire gong.  There is an alarm hooked up but untested, and a good label inside.  A better-than-average example.  $100–$200.

Looking for an easy way to save the clocks you like?

Here's an easy way to keep track of your favorite clocks:  Open/download the Bid Form PDF onto your computer (it should open in a new window) and type in the clocks you want to save.  Right click to 'save as', or click the download arrow in the top right corner of your browser window, and you can save the filled-in form on your computer - I recommend your desktop.  It will be easy to find and you can open it any time to add or subtract clocks from the list.  When you are ready to go, your bid form will be too!
