102.           $125

Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Concord”, 1889.  A 22.5-inch walnut case with a clean finish and handsome carvings on the side – note the acorns at the bottom.  The door glass is old/original; the dial is paper on a new nickel dial pan.  The ST hands are replacements and there is a ST star pendulum bob.  The 8-day, time-and-strike lyre movement is signed but unwilling to run for more than a minute or so and strikes slowly and reluctantly on a cathedral gong.  The date of manufacture stamped on the back is very faint and there is no label.  This is an attractive clock in the City Series; AAC sold one in 2022 for $156.  $125–$200.
