91. $150
Atkins Clock Co. “London”, 1859-1879. A second
example of this model with an 8-day time-and-strike movement. The 16.5-inch rosewood case has an old, patinated finish; both glasses are original, with a well-preserved dial surround and tablet. The dial is period with some wear, and may not be
original, as it has stenciled spandrels. The hands are correct. The brass 8-day, time-and-strike movement is unsigned;
it is running and striking properly on a wire gong. An old pendulum bob, key, and dark but legible label inside. A better-than-average
example; the average sale price for this model on AAC (10 sales) is $191. $150–$250.
