Smith & Goodrich 30-hour OG, 1847-1852.  A 26-inch case with good figured mahogany veneer, a clean finish, and two period/original glasses with a well-preserved tablet.  The contoured metal dial is in horrible condition and needs to be replaced; the hands are modern replacements.  The 30-hour, time-and-strike brass movement is unsigned, driven by two 30-hour weights; it is running and striking without problem.  There is a good label inside.  Notable for its tablet.  $25-$100.
