3.                   $1200

Seth Thomas off-center pillar & scroll, ca. 1820.  A third example of this otherwise uncommon model.  The 30-inch case has clean mahogany veneer with no obvious repairs other than to the right scroll tip and a small repair to the top left corner of the door. One or more feet may have been knocked off and reglued into place; there is a bit of patina on the sides and base.  The brass urn finials are the proper ST type and are on steel posts; there is a working door latch and key.  The dial glass is an old replacement, the lower glass original with the original putty, repainted in place.  The wooden dial board is clean with the expected minute markers on the quarter-hours and a gilded decoration below the mainstem.  The hands are period and correct, but probably not original.  The 30-hour wood strap movement is running and striking on the iron bell, driven by two proper lead weights compounded on small wooden pulleys.  An old pendulum bob and a very good label on the backwall.  $1200–$2500.

Can I return my clock if I don’t like it?

You betcha!  Save your packing and box, you have 30 days from receipt to return it for a full refund if you are unhappy.  If the clock is not as described, or I missed something important and that is not evident from the pictures, I will refund your shipping costs (both ways) as well.  Find another auction company that does that!
