Badische Uhrenfabrik shelf clock, ca. 1890.  A 14.5-inch walnut case with a clean finish.  The door glass is old, the dial celluloid, the hands fancy.  The 8-day, time and half-hour strike movement is running and striking on the standing cathedral gong.  The movement bears a logo that I think is the manufacturer noted, a serial number of 75600.  A jeweler’s label from Stratford England on the back of the door.  $25–$100.
