269. $200
Junghans bracket clock with bracket, ca. 1890. A beautiful 22-inch
bim-bam bracket clock in walnut with a carved top, urn finials, and brass ornamentation, and standing on cast brass claw feet. The brass and silver dial is clean and the numbering strong, with appropriate hands. The side glasses are beveled, and the back
door is covered in fabric behind the grill. The clock sits on a matching bracket with additional brass ornamentation; two drop
finials are missing. The Junhans 8-day movement will run briefly but needs cleaning/service; it strikes each quarter hour once,
twice and three times on two cathedral gongs. Similar examples sell for around $200 without the mounting bracket. $200–$300.
