267. $100
Fredrich Mauthe Schwenningen (FMS) open well swinger, ca. 1910. The walnut case is about 38 inches tall with a convex glass over the dial and a glass in a drop-down door over the pendulum bob. The porcelain dial is clean with a gold medallion and proper hands. The 8-day, time and half-hour strike movement is die-stamped
“FMS” with serial numbers; it is running and striking on a wire gong mounted to the backboard. A nice example. $100–$250.
