Ansonia Clock Co. “La Layon”, ca. 1904.  A second example, this one in New Arts pink and yellow.  Some losses to the gilding, but no chips or repairs; purple and blue irises on the front. There is a dark hairline crack to the back of the case.  A beveled flat glass in the sash.  The flawless and decorated two-part porcelain dial is signed and the Ansonia logo is in the center dial, the visible escapement has steel pallets.  The signed 8-day, time and half-hour strike movement is running and striking on a cathedral gong.  Colorful.  No key. $200–$500.
