Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Empire No. 9” crystal regulator, 1907-1909. A 13-inch tall crystal regulator in brass with gilding, most of which still remains.  There are four good beveled glasses and a unmarred and decorated porcelain dial with the proper hands.  The 8-day, time and half-hour strike movement is die-stamped with the ST logo and is running and striking on a standing cathedral gong.  A better than average example, and only one sale on LiveAuctioneers.  $100–$250.
