211. $350
Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Panama”, 1889. A 31-inch walnut case with
a dark and glossy finish. The glass looks to be original, the paper dial a replacement, the ST hands are correct. The
8-day, time-and-strike Seth Thomas movement is a bit oily and won’t run overnight, so a cleaning is needed. The damascened
nickel pendulum bob has been polished to death. There is a very dark and unreadable label on the interior bottom. A nice
little model; AAC has sold four examples over the last five years for an average of $644. $350–$600.
