Southern Calendar Clock Co. “Fashion No. 4”, ca. 1885.  The most common Fashion model.  The 32-inch walnut case must have the original finish with three original finials. The door glass is original with proper and original Fashion lettering.  The dials hold the original paint with chipping, the four hands are proper.  The Seth Thomas 8-day, time-and-strike movement is running and striking on a brass bell, and the calendars are advancing.  The pendulum stick and bob are likely original and the calendar papers are old.  There are the expected labels inside, and a secret compartment in back to hold the pendulum and key.  The average AAC sale price for twenty sales over the past five years is $634.  $475–$650.
