Co. “The Buttercup”, ca. 1889.  A 17.5-inch refinished walnut case; the door glass is period/original, the hands appropriate, the dial newer paper.  The 30-hour time-and-strike movement is running and striking on a new wire gong, regulated by a Welch pendulum.  There is an alarm, untested.  A too-dark-to-read label on the back.  $25–$75.
