E. Ingraham & Co. “Episode”, ca. 1881.  A small (14.5-inch) “Polished Walnut” case with a thick patina.  The door glass is a replacement, the paper dial likely original, yellowed and with wear.  The hands are as shown in the catalog illustration (Ly, Ingraham Clocks & Watches, page 261).  The 8-day time-and-strike movement is signed and running, striking on a cathedral gong.  No label, but a jeweler’s label on the back from Providence, RI in 1907.  $50–$100.
