124.           $100

E. Ingraham & Co. “Angora”, ca. 1886.  An 18-inch clock in “Polished Walnut” in an architectural style unique to Ingraham, and consistent with the long-standing history of unique and attractive case-forms developed by Elias Ingraham.  The glass is period, the dial signed paper, the hands appropriate.  The 8-day, time-and-strike moment is die-stamped and running, striking on a cathedral gong and regulated by a proper pendulum that matches the catalog illustration shown in Ly, Ingraham Clocks & Watches, page 162.  There is no label.  I’m a big fan of this style of clocks, and you don’t see them often; there’s only one listing on LiveAuctioneers, from 2014.  $100–$250.
