E.N. Welch Mfg. Co. 8-day steeple, ca. 1870. A 19-inch steeple with good rosewood veneer on the front and period glasses, although I believe the tablet has been repainted. The finials may be correct.  The metal dial holds the original paint with a few chips and appropriate hands;  the 8-day, time-and-strike movement is dirty and has not been run in decades.  It will run for a bit and will strike on the wire gong. There is an alarm hooked up (untested) and a good label inside.  $25–$75.
