Three S.B. Terry-style miniature box clocks, ca. 1852.  There are no labels in these clocks and the 1-day movements are unmarked, but they closely resemble clocks made by the S.B. Terry & Co. firm between 1852 and 1853.  Each is just over 11 inches tall.  The first has walnut or mahogany veneer on the front, under an old finish; the middle clock appears to have lost its veneer, and the third on the right appears to be a remade case.  The glasses on the first two are likely original, with wear to the original tablets.  The first has a badly corroded metal dial, original to the clock, the middle clock has a wooden dial, and the third clock has a modern wood dial with a paper overlay.  The hands are period on the first clock, a mixed improper set on the middle clock, and not proper on the third.  The 1-day movements are not signed and the first two include an alarm.  All three are running, the alarms untested.  All three for one money.  $25–$150.
