Boston Clock Co. “Locomotive”, ca. 1890. A 10-inch brass case with
an 8-inch silvered dial; this model also came with a 4-inch dial. It is 2.75-inches deep. The bezel opens with a push
lever on the side; it has the correct hands including the seconds hand. The 8-day, 7-jeweled lever movement is running
without issue. This is a rare clock, with two listings in the last 10 years on the Antique Clocks Identification and Price Guide
($1000 in 2018 and $1100 in 2016, both at Schmitt’s) and none on LiveAuctioneers. $750–$1000.
